He is good.

No chance I give him a big contract

I think the deal they offered him last year was pretty good. It was 5 million over the next highest guy at his position. But he refused it, so I don't know how much he is actually looking for.

He is looking to re-establish the contract scale for RBs, so he wants probably 8-10 million more

would have probably cost us a lot more than that to sign him.

Why? I doubt he would've gotten more than the Hankins deal from anyone, and there are still 2 DTs on the market that will likely outperform him.

I have heard for years and years that we are going to stop the run

Our division is built to run on everyone. Poe would have been an outstanding addition to make this happen

I'm not in panick mode but WTF Ballard?? It's not coming out of your pocket Chris!!!

Would you sign with the Colts with an uncertain QB situation in a state that is inland and colder for the same money as a coastal City in a temperate climate with a team who has been constantly competitive? It would take a fair amount more for me to sign with the Colts unless I was a native, this is not hard math here. Once Luck comes back and proves he is still a top 10 QB then players will want to come here on fair contracts.
