Nonsense, it's a stupid typo. No way he comes back.

Jim Irsay Tweet

"We're going to be mediocre for a while. Please don't lose interest/hope, and please buy tickets!"
Either that, or he had a few too many, or was one toke over the line. Hopefully it was the former...

I personally don't see a Rivers signing happening. Setting aside what everything thinks about his skills/personality, we'd have to pay him pretty well to come here, likely on a 2 year contract. We also still have to pay Brissett because I doubt we'd cut him, AND I expect us to draft a developmental QB who would need to occupy another spot on the roster. So I just don't see it absent a trade.

It was no typo - he did it twice in his tweet and no other words are inappropriately capitalized - but what does it mean? I have no clue. Four minutes after the referenced tweet, he posted "be careful when and where you use capital letters... they can be “ misconstrued""

http://https://twitter.com/JimIrsay/...98198379110400

I have no idea what that is supposed to mean either, in this context. And he hasn't posted anything since then to explain any of this. Not sure why Irsay would do want to raise everyone's hopes, though.

That is true that he wrote it twice, but on his tweet about being Edge's HOF inductor - he lamented that Edge went to the dessert one year too soon.

Edge apparently liked to eat a lot of cake and ice cream. :D

Could be as simple as he added "Luck" to his spell check dictionary a few years ago because at the time the Colts had a QB with a last name of Luck.....and now anytime he starts to type luck or lucky, it automatically suggests Luck.

If he does come back, it won’t be next season. It would be the season after. Hes only been retired since August.

I say NO to Rivers, but interesting that people think Jacoby could be released. I think he will be replaced, yet retained as an emergency fill-in.

Curious as to the logic here?

There isn't any. He goes an entire year without surgery and/or rehab. Oh yeah, he's going to come back and take another beating since he feels better.
