This game was lost in the first half, with the idiotic 4th down plays.

Indeed.... Reich should know better and know he lacks the weapons to take those chances against a damn good Defense. He also told his own Defense today he has zero faith in them and that’s bad too!

Probably not, but I hate it when the refs take away the chance on a very questionable judgement call.

This is the first loss this season that coaching is most responsible for. Blame lies in order of culpability 1. Coaching 2. Offense 3. Special Teams 4. Defense.

The Texans loss is also on coaching--no matter how much we agree with the decision.

I mean, I get that Reich is always going to be aggressive. But after the first failed fourth down, you’ve got to realize that the defense is owning your offense and take the points.

There's no shame in recognizing a stout defense and taking points early and often.

I don't see it that way

Bears just did the Windy City Special to tie with no time on the clock.

This. I don't have a problem with going for it on the first 4th down. 4th and goal at the 1, let's go for the TD. But after they stopped that...going for it later in the game on 4th and 1 at the 30ish yard? That was just a really fucking dumb decision by Reich.

At that point how in the gdamn hell did Reich not realize that the Jags very capable fully "brought it" today? On top of that, did he actually think Cody fucking Kessler was going to beat us?

Jeezus, what a terribly coached game by Reich.

My three least favorite things in football are...

1.) The fucking fade route in goal-to-go situations.
2.) Chasing points by going for two in the 2nd and/or 3rd quarters or early in the 4th of a one score game.
3.) Not taking points, any points, in the 1st half against a team with a known good to elite defense.

My least favorite thing in football is getting beat by Cody Kessler who was 0-8 as a starter prior to today.
