If he's going to have a bad stretch, I'd rather have Gay have a rough stretch now than in the final 2 games of the season and/or in the playoffs ...... especially since his 2 bad games against the Bengals and the Steelers probably wouldn't have mattered much either way (we probably would have lost to the Bengals if Gay had not missed those 2 attempts last week, and we will probably beat the Steelers in spite of him missing 2 attempts this week.)
