That was somewhat reminiscent of when the Colts scored a TD on a blocked punt against the Cowboys in December of 2010, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vswzfyOvw0 o |
If Reich takes the points on that first drive, they are up 7. If Davenport doesn't get blown up on that shuffle pass, they are up even more.
Overall, they maybe don't deserve the lead. But they have played just as well as the Rams have. |
Ok, for now at least, the football karma gods mostly balanced things out for us with that play. Granted, our two goal-to-go drives that ended in 0 points were our own doing with poor play calling and poor execution, and the Rams play just was a freakish fluke, but I'll take it.

Some games the karma sort of finds a way to balance itself out, and other games you just keep doing stupid shit (0 points on 2 goal-to-go drives) and it snowballs into a blowout loss. We may still end up losing, but I did not expect us to be leading in the 4th after how everything played out before that Rams punt. |
Too easy for the Rams. D really sucked on that series.

Suddenly we forget Kupp is playing.

Damnit Defense:rolleyes:

Disappointing response by the defense!
