Yeah. a win is a win and I'm pretty happy about a win in general, but this is like the least happy win one could feel, if that makes any sense. It didn't' feel like the Colts won because of great play but because the Titans just fucked up time and time again with penalties or turnovers.

Still, better than a moral victory.

A win in a division game on the road is a rare feat. Just accept the W and move on to next week.

TEN's defense is pretty good. I didn't realize they were #1 in Pass and Total defense coming into the game. I don't think they're 243ypg all season good... but pretty stingy.

Likely still #1 in both after this week, I'd imagine. I don't know that I'd call it sloppy for our offense as much as lackluster and gritty. Definitely not their best.

But... Timely run by Goodson. Big plays by MAC and especially Pitt. If Pierce isn't going to catch bombs, 40 yard PI's are the next best thing. And Josh Downs is a stud. Didn't light it up, but reliably makes important catches and first downs.

Hard to judge the defense considering the opponent. Definitely more active up front blitzing... we didn't get any sacks, but they had 95 yards passing. We'll see what the pressures were.

Rumors earlier in the week that Pittman would not play....if he hadn't played the Colts wouldn't have won. Nobody else on the roster makes that catch in the end zone!

Pierce would have made that catch.

I was thinking about this today but with Pitt, Pierce, and Downs, the Colts have a legitimately good receiving corp. It’s certainly a helluva lot better than Tennessee’s washed up bunch.

Just missing an impact tight end.

I think that Ballard was trying to move up for Bowers to rectify the TE situation.

Same thoughts today- Dulin is also not at all bad as your 4th. Steichen compliments this group as well, he constantly schemes dudes open.

Also consider the fact that Downs wouldn’t be here if Steichen wasnt hired as coach. Remember, for years Ballard wouldn’t draft a wide receiver under 6 feet tall.

Downs is the perfect complement to Pittman and Pierce.

Pierce has been making some great catches lately, but not with that level of contact.

I don't think he would have held on to it...
