3rd & 3 and Hooker isn't even on the screen as deep as he is. It's not like they're looking to stretch the field on that down.

That's his job in the cover two, don't let anything behind him. Patrol the deep half of his field. Or the deep as a single high. Literally why they are called safeties.

Isn't cover 2 for longer than a 3rd & 3? Tighten up and play the short pass, this guy isn't beating anyone deep with a throw. Hooker could've at least been within 10 yards of the LOS.
