I want SD to beat the cheats next week.

TheMugwump 01-06-2019 04:35 PM

Am I the only one who looks at Jackson and sees a poor mans' Deshaun Watson?

Outta call one "short hop" and the other one "off target".

no, Watson can throw the ball and do the other QB things.

nate505 01-06-2019 04:36 PM

I'm glad the Chargers are winning as I think they have a better chance of knocking out the Fags next week. That being said, they are aided by the idiocy that is John Harbaugh. Why Jackson is still in at this point is a total mystery.

They will. Pats are done.

And travel out to that intense, tightly-packed home field advantage the Chargers have when playing at...where? Where do they play their home games again?

Seriously. I don't know.

o

The Chargers are getting a lot of pressure on a very mobile Lamar Jackson ........ Flacco is considerably less mobile AND he has poor pocket presence.

At this point, it's just a matter of whether or nor the Ravens want to rearrange the chairs on their rapidly-sinking Titanic ship.

I'll never say the Cheatriots are done until the clock is dead.

They don't respect Jackson as a passer. They would have to respect Flacco

Back in the day, on the Rats board, there was a Baltimore troll named Raven Rick. Constantly bad mouthing the Colts. One poster renamed him Craven Dick, which to this day still makes me laugh my ass off.

Poor mans Vince Young. Watson reminds me of McNabb a little. Good runner inconsistent accuracy.

With a 20-3 (now 23-3) lead?

No way.

And even if they did "respect" Flacco, the most that the slow-footed and football IQ-challenged Flacco could do would be to perhaps muster one touchdown against a prevent defense that has a 3-possession lead.

Well they waiting too long now

And speaking of lack of situational awareness, what the HELL were the Chargers thinking on their last possession ........ they had 3rd down and 8 from deep inside Ravens territory, and they THROW THE BALL to try to get the 1st down ???

Duh ........ keep the ball on the ground and run 35 more seconds off of the clock, and then kick the field goal.

o

Puck 01-06-2019 05:04 PM

Wow the are the Chargers being coached by Pagano?

Puck 01-06-2019 05:06 PM

damn I think thats a TD

daedge 01-06-2019 05:09 PM

Clear as day that's a TD. Thought it was live, too. Official was right there. Get it right.

Chromeburn 01-06-2019 05:10 PM

Haha Baltimore hanging in there.

o

Very bad clock management by the Chargers this late in the game, on both sides of the ball.

In addition to what I previously alluded to (throwing the ball for an incomplete pass on 3rd down and long deep in Ravens territory with a 17-point lead and less than 10 minutes to play), the made another boner on the Ravens' previous drive ........ allowing Jackson to throw a 31-yard-touchdown pass when you have a 20-point lead. You have to make him make at least 2 more passes and tackle them in-bounds before allowing that touchdown in that situation ......... in other words, continue to play the prevent defense that you were playing for that entire drive previous to that play.

o

Butter 01-06-2019 05:12 PM

chargers got way to soft.

daedge 01-06-2019 05:16 PM

These officials are a joke. Pathetic.

This game is boring ........ I'm going to see what else is on TV.

daedge 01-06-2019 05:22 PM

Jackson's ball handling is horrid. He must have the lightest grip on the ball imaginable.

Puck 01-06-2019 05:39 PM

On to the Bears Philly game

have at it

Butter 01-06-2019 05:42 PM

I don't have a lot of hope for Philly.

Really? I think this will be Chicagos hardest test. Foles runs this offense better than Wentz.

EDIT. to date. they will have issues with Brees. I think they beat the rams though. Depends on Tribisky and if he has the same in deer in the headlights look that Jackson did today

JAFF 01-06-2019 05:50 PM

2 road teams have won so far, and the Eagles are scrappy.

Puck 01-06-2019 05:59 PM

WOW!!!!! Great job on the corner kick!!!!

Trubisky shitting the bed is the potential wild card here.

I use too..... If the Colts and Bears don't make it I hop Philly wins it all again with Foles.

Wouldn't mind seeing Rivers get one. And I use to hate that fucker.

Just not the Cheats or the Chiefs.... the Mahomes tributes are over the top... and I like him

I am hoping that's what happens to Mahomes next week.... but he comes from a sports family and I am not sure he will be overwhelmed

Haha, Chase Daniel was 1-1 for the Bears this year.

JAFF 01-06-2019 06:34 PM

Some team needs to make a deal for Foles. Our luck it will be the jags
