If you take away his 2 missed field goals in snowy and extremely windy Buffalo 3 weeks ago, Adam Vinatieri's field goal percentage for the season is above 90% (31-for-34, 91.2 %.)

Considering those circumstances, I think that Irsay should give him the $500,000 bonus that he would have gotten for having at least a 90% success ratio.

I know that he that he didn't actually earn the bonus to the letter of the law. The point(s) that I was making had to do with a combination of the extremely severe weather conditions in which the game against the Bills was played, along with the fact that Vinatieri has been by far the greatest Colts kicker ever that has bailed the team out with his right foot on countless occasions throughout his 12 seasons with the team. You have use abstract thinking to understand the suggestion that I was making in regard to Irsay giving him the bonus in spite of his final success ratio being slightly below the required 90%.
