This is amazing! I have been watching football on TV for a LONG damn time. I have never heard something so lifeless. Wow! This alone should send Jim on a rampage. What a disgrace!

DragonTails 01-05-2025 02:44 PM

Why is Flacco even playing? Why not give the 3rd string a start.

Why not bring Bean up and give him a shot?

It has the dynamic of a lazy afternoon baseball game announcer.

No doubt. Dude's almost as injury prone as Woods is

I didn't realize that Jeff Foxworthy is now the Jax coach.

If I was announcing this game, I would be way more uninspiring than these guys.

Dam8610 01-05-2025 02:52 PM

So when you get your pro bowl RB involved in your offense, you get a TD. Will Steichen learn from that drive?

We can't drop past 15 since ATL's opponent winning % is much higher than ours, but every spot counts. For example - if we had ended up at 11th or 12th last year then we could have taken Bowers.

Nope

Damn, one of them is Brady Quinn. He is solid on Fox in the morning. He sounds like he just wants to go back to the hotel and take a nap today. Which quite frankly would probably be more enjoyable than what he is doing.

Brylok 01-05-2025 02:59 PM

Been watching United vs Liverpool. How have the dolts looked so far?

This game is being played with the intensity of a 4th grade rec flag game. Lots of players on both sides with tickets to fly out later this afternoon who want this thing over with ASAP!

By the way, AD Mitchell still sucks in case you were wondering- which I suspect you probably already knew...

IndyNorm 01-05-2025 03:01 PM

In other news around the league apparently neither ATL nor TB want to go to the playoffs.

ATL maybe does?

Indystu2 01-05-2025 03:05 PM

...and they are still trying to throw to TE's. Just no.

Brylok 01-05-2025 03:06 PM

Looks and sounds dead in there.
It's snowing, but not much accumulated yet.

Brylok 01-05-2025 03:11 PM

NE vs Buffalo is on CBS. Trubiski appears to be starting QB for Buffalo.

CletusPyle 01-05-2025 03:15 PM

Gus was under the impression that the Jaguars would not be trying to win today, thus the lack of preparation!

DragonTails 01-05-2025 03:15 PM

That juggernaut NY Giants offense has 0 points at half time and drew lock has 30 yards passing.

hmmm.

Probably just sandbagging for draft position. Locke proved last week he should get a bigger contract than Dak's present day gold standard.

Yep. Our D is making Mac Jones look the the QB Dam thought he was.

Colts And Orioles 01-05-2025 03:25 PM

o

Finally, we saw some good clock-management by Steichen on the Colts' last defensive series, near their own goal-line ...... the Jaguars had plenty of time to score either way, so calling time-outs in that situation was a no-brainer.

The Saints are 5-11, and the lead the 9-7 Buccaneers by a score of 16-6 at halftime ...... the Buccaneers desperately need to win this game, but the Saints aren't rolling over for them.

Yep. Would be a mega choke job by TB if they don't come back and win.

Also ATL is tied 17 all vs. CAR.

And all the Commanders have to do to clinch the #6 seed in the NFC is beat the Cowboys today, but they are also losing at halftime by a score of 6-3 ...... if they lose and the Packers win, the Commanders drop down to the #7 seed.

Colts could learn from that

21° and snowing. These games have me so bored I want to go out for a drive.

CletusPyle 01-05-2025 03:33 PM

And the Packers ??? They, like the Commanders, are vying for the #6 seed in the NFC, but they are losing to the 4-12 Bears at halftime, also ...... nobody is lying down for anybody today.

After seeing the score there I had assumed that Wash was sitting everyone, but it appears they aren't.
