Jerry looks like he is about to have a stroke. Or he is about to fire someone. Or both.

But I will never feel sorry for the Cowgirls.

Gotta love the off-season.

I think there is a good-sized contingent of Eagles fans that hope their team is blown out on Monday night just so that they can fire Sirianni after the team's late season collapse.

Wow, 41-16 and not even in the 4th quarter.

Jerry Jones looks disgusted as hell. Adios McCarthy.

He was an underachieving coach in Green Bay, so why not in Dallas?

The announcer said if McCarthy gets fired, teams would be lining up to get him. I call BS on that.

Now, I'm rooting for the Lions, even though it will knock me out of the Soda Bowl.

Lions/Bills Super Bowl. Fans of every team except the teams they play in the playoffs should be on board for this. A true underdog vs Bills Mafia.

Colts And Orioles 01-14-2024 09:36 PM

The Rams were the only team in the NFL without a turnover in the red-zone this season ...... that's extremely impressive.

I have always wanted the Lions to advance. I just thought the Rams were playing too well right now and have more experience. So if I lose this Omaha and I go to the tie breaker and it'll take some math to figure out how far we are off. Ha. Man I didnt see these kind of scores at all

Racehorse 01-14-2024 11:15 PM

Did anyone else notice McCarthy was not covering his mouth when calling plays? I know nearly every other coach does a good job of hiding their mouths, but that moron wasn’t even close to covering his.

Yeah, neither did I.

Browns, Cowboys and Rams shit the bed. But, that's okay, wanted the Cowboys and Rams out. This whole NFL season has been crazy.

Not sure you can say the Rams shit the bed from an overall standpoint. They were 3 point dogs and lost by 1. They did shit the bed on the red zone though, which between that and the Lions only putting up 3 points in the 2nd half fucked me on my parlay

This shit stressed me out all season, with us specifically. I swear they kept the camera on Steichen and he'd do this too.

He seemed to be more aware of it towards the end of the season but I also think he gets so engaged and focused on what's going on that he doesn't consciously think about it as much as he should.

I would say that Reich was much worse in this regard than I've ever seen Steichen.

If the Browns had had somebody besides Joe Flacco at QB, they might have won the game, or at least made it competitive ...... in my rat's ass of an opinion, Joe Flacco against good teams at this stage of his career was/is a recipe for disaster.

The Browns beat the Texans in the regular season with Flacco at QB, but that was the Texans without C.J. Stroud, and the Texans without C.J. Stroud are a different team on both sides of the ball. After winning 3 straight division titles in 1975, 1976, and 1977, the 1978 Baltimore Colts fell apart on both sides of the ball without Bert Jones, and that was no coincidence.

I am gonna join the Bills Mafia for theses playoffs. I am am huge Josh Allen fan. And I freakin hate the stEAlers

NFC side. I would love to see the Lions pull this off. I also like the 9ers

Whoever I root for will immediately lose so I’ll probably pull for the Steelers.

Fuck the Browns… I knew they were phonies… let Flacco rest the last game of the year…. Guy was on his couch half the season and you let him rest??? They got what they deserved. Fuck em

Watching the 95 playoff game against the Chargers when Zack Crockett ran wild. Ashley Ambrose was a damn good CB.

On the back page of the New York Daily News newspaper the day after that game, they had a picture of Jim Harbaugh hugging Zack Crockett, and huge, printed letters of the word l "UPSET" l with the Capital l "U" l being horseshoe-style, the same as the Colts' logo ...... the entire back-page of a major New York City newspaper was entirely covered with an Indianapolis Colts playoff win.

How did the Steelers make the playoffs?

Spike 01-15-2024 06:45 PM

Up to this point, it has been a great weekend of playoff football.

Rams- out
Cowboys - out
Steelers trailing 21-0 in the 2nd quarter.

:D

Seems they played teams at the right time. LV had not fired McDouche yet. Burrow had just gotten hurt. Love had not yet hit his stride in GB, etc.

The Steelers started the season at 7-4, which included a win over the Ravens.

After that 7-4 start, they bottomed out with 3 consecutive losses, 2 of which were to awful teams (the Cardinals and the Patriots.) And even the loss to the Colts was pretty bad, because it was a decisive win for the Colts (30-13), and the Colts with Gardner Minshew at QB were a pretty good (but far from a great) team.

After the Steelers lost to the Colts to conclude their disastrous 3-game losing streak, they were seemingly in a shambles ...... Steelers fans were calling for the head of Mike Tomlin, claiming that the game had "passed him by" ...... they responded by winning their next 3 games to finish the season at 10-7 to bring home the 17th consecutive winning/non-losing season for their much-maligned head coach.

The Steelers are probably going to lose this game to the Bills, but the same is true for many of the lower-seeded playoff teams throughout recent NFL history ...... they often lose in the first-round, and it can often be foreseen prior to the fact.

Kind of like the Cowboys losing early in the playoffs.

Sirianni is getting fired. The team is outmatched, and TB is not very good. It is a collapse like the Titans last year and the Jags this year.

That would have to be a record for shortest time from Super Bowl appearance to firing, wouldn't it?

Philly fired Pederson just a little after his SB win. Probably not this quick, but Philly is Philly.

I think Pederson was 3 seasons removed from his SB win w/ the Eagles. The Eagles won the SB in the '17 season, and I believe Pederson was fired after the 2020 season.

Two sooner occurrences that come to mind are Caldwell and Jimmy Johnson. We fired Caldwell 2 seasons removed from a SB appearance. And the Cowgirls fired Jimmy Johnson after they won back to back SBs, but that was due to a pissing contest between Johnson and Jerry Jones and obviously had nothing to do w/ results.

Puck 01-15-2024 11:32 PM

Suck it Eagles

Wasn't it Ambrose that gave up the long completion to Thigpen that put the Steelers in a position to take the lead?
