Colts And Orioles 12-04-2022 09:32 PM

I like when a team hikes the ball back 8 yards instead of the traditional 7 yards on very long field goal-attempts ...... on very long field-goal attempts, the trajectory of the kicked ball is lower than it is on shorter field-goal attempts. That extra yard gives the offensive line a little more leeway in their effort to prevent the defense from blocking the kick.

CletusPyle 12-04-2022 09:36 PM

That was a fumble, but I think he got it back anyway?

The replays show that the Colts may have missed an opportunity to challenge that -non-fumble call ...... that's probably going to wind up costing us at least 3 points, and as many as 14. It could wind up being 7-3 Cowboys if they score a touchdown here, instead of 10-0 Colts (if the Colts took that short field and scored a touchdown after the fumble recovery.)

That has to be a down for player saftey. BS call

Yeah, if he would have got up and fumbled it I bet suddenly that would have saw that ankle flat against the ground!

If the Colts defender had really rammed Cee Dee Lamb to the ground on that play to make sure that he was down, the referees may have called unnecessary roughness.

The offense has all of the rules going their way these days ...... they can put their heads down and run as hard as they want to, try to break tackles, fake going out of bounds and then tightrope the sidelines for extra yardage, and keep running after the whistle is blown with no repercussions ...... the defense, on the other hand, has all sorts of restraints on them that they can (and will) get penalized for.

apballin 12-04-2022 09:46 PM

That play is out season in a nutshell

ChoppedWood 12-04-2022 09:48 PM

Holy shit- we threw the ball long!

And check it out---- it fucking worked.

What an amazing concept!

Jonathan Taylor is going to fuck the Cowboys up today ...... I'm pissed.

CletusPyle 12-04-2022 09:50 PM

How can this team look so good at times and then play like shit against the worst teams in the league?

Racehorse 12-04-2022 09:50 PM

Ryan drank from the fountain of youth this week.

Well, so far the offensive line seems to have remembered that they aren't playing in the Pro Bowl exhibition game.

o

nate505 12-04-2022 09:51 PM

Well, at least it was a nice response to a fluke ass play

He sees Nick Foles on the sidelines, and he wants to keep him there!:D

12 years ago in 2010, the Colts blocked a punt for a touchdown against the Cowboys.

Let's get another one of those today.

o

Racehorse 12-04-2022 09:54 PM

Colts have scored as much in the first quarter as the Titans did all day today.

Racehorse 12-04-2022 09:55 PM

Our run defense is giving up 4-5 per carry today.

apballin 12-04-2022 09:58 PM

This defense is championship caliber with Paye

CletusPyle 12-04-2022 09:58 PM

I have been talking shit all day about this team, who knew they read this forum and would get pissed off over it?

ChoppedWood 12-04-2022 10:03 PM

Oh My God--- who the F just decided not to block on that play???
That is embarrassing!

Spike 12-04-2022 10:03 PM

Offensive line reverts back to its wicked ways.

nate505 12-04-2022 10:03 PM

Awesome blocking there

JAFF 12-04-2022 10:05 PM

How does an all pro center and all pro guard allow a free rusher straight up the A gap?

Racehorse 12-04-2022 10:05 PM

Defensive turnover on this drive.

CletusPyle 12-04-2022 10:09 PM

Too many weapons on offense!

CletusPyle 12-04-2022 10:10 PM

Isn't wrapping your arm around a guy's neck holding?

nate505 12-04-2022 10:15 PM

Got a slow motion train wreck going on

ChoppedWood 12-04-2022 10:18 PM

Pryor just fucking tackled Taylor... dude is so bad at this

Racehorse 12-04-2022 10:19 PM

No idea why we don’t run outside more often.

albany ed 12-04-2022 10:19 PM

Finally some outside runs

CletusPyle 12-04-2022 10:20 PM

Hit Ryan in the head....every other QB gets that call!

nate505 12-04-2022 10:20 PM

Man this OL is one giant pile of suck

apballin 12-04-2022 10:21 PM

Taylor is a liability in pass protection

CletusPyle 12-04-2022 10:22 PM

They are blitzing on almost every play, we need to make them pay for that!
