Nothing against Shaw, seems like a great guy, good moral character, but I am really hoping for a coach with an edge to him...I've said it before, we need an ass kicker!

It may well be Shaw. Nice, safe, and has Colts written all over him. Who knows?

After the 1 PM games the Colts climbed to # 10 in draft order. Keep ascending fellers, we need a QB or this ship never gets righted.

Yes. Being an ass kicker is nonsense. A communicator, being consistant in planning and execution. Flexible, open to new concepts, ability to critically examine results and adjust instruction due to analysis of results

I agree, being an ass-kicker is nonsense.

Now, if a head coach is ever described as a "cunt-licker", that would certainly capture my attention.

I think a coach can do all of those things and still be a demanding tough ass that players know won't take any shit! We've gone the nice guy route, and our Colts teams have been some of the softest in the league...time to get an attitude and put some fear into teams that come into Lucas Oil!

I saw and heard Dungy at camp. He was demanding, exacting, expectations of perfection on every play. Never demeaning or screaming. He gave respect and expected it in return. He treated them like adults and demanded them to be accountable, without losing his shit and screaming like a fool.

Currently sitting at 9th overall pick after tonight's debacle behind 4 4-8 teams, 2 3-9 teams, the Bears and the Texans. Have to hope we drop the second game to the Texans and everyone else gets to 5+ wins. That would position the Colts very well for a Top 3 pick. At that point, all stops must be pulled to get the choice guy.

Ballard didn't turn the ball over 5 times last night.

But the roster that he put together did.

Really? The offensive line was considered the strength of the team. The core guys, Smith, Kelly and Nelson have not played to their ability. Our best D player hasnt played.

The defense has been outstanding, where did they come from? The kicking game took a shot when Sanchez got hurt, but Ballard fixed that and the Fg/xp kicker on the fly.

Not sure what the D and kicking game have to do with our O committing 5 turnovers.

And are you really saying that Ballard should be off the hook for this year's shit show b/c some high priced veterans, who he paid, have grossly underperformed and we've had some injuries?
