I had heard the Washington rumors, same person that said that, said Derek Carr would be a Colt? We shall see!

I’m not impressed with anyone who is available I don’t want to spend 28 million and draft choices for Jimmy G. Use the money to shore up other positions and I have no idea who should be the QB.

Crazy as it sounds with where he’s at, I’d like to give Minshew a try

Carr is about the only one I care to give anything up for. I don't want to give Garoppolo the same money we just saved on Wentz plus picks/players to SF. |
For me with Rodgers and Wilson off the board, Carr is the only guy I see as an upgrade possibly available. All the other veteran QBs who will be on the market are one year rentals at based, IMO.
If McDouchbag wants to part ways from him, I don't know that about any price would not be too high to pay for him. His last 4 seasons of completion percentages? 68.4%, 67.3%, 70.4% and 68.9% in 2018. 90 to 41 TD to INT ratio in that same span. Over 4,000 yards passing each of last 4 seasons. 31 years old when the 2022 season starts. He is in the last year of his contract and will cost $19.8m of cap space. We would need to sign him to a long term extension but that is the cost of doing business. His on field and off field leadership is demonstrated. That's the guy I want. If not him, then I don't think it really matters because all the rest are one-year rentals, IMO. |

I’ve read where people think Love will go for two third round draft choices. I have no idea what the Colts think of him. He has a gun but so did Wentz
Zac Keefer is reporting the Colts didn’t like Love when he was drafted and don’t see him as the guy now |

I would put an asterisk next to the 2019 season as well, because Andrew Luck abruptly retired shortly before the start of the season and we had to roll with Jacoby Brissett ...... the very next season, Ballard picked up Philip Rivers who led the Colts to an 11-5 record. o |
