I don't know how he couldn't be better. Davis and Bryan were practically invisible out there.

Spencer Shrader fan club members will be happy - He's back with the Colts:

Signed K Spencer Shrader.

He signed with Indy as an UDFA last offseason and would spend time with Colts, Chiefs and Jets.

Perfect on the field: 5 of 5 FGs, 9 on 9 PATs.

K Spencer Shrader agreed to a two-year deal with the Colts, per a league source.

2 years? Are they giving him a serious chance at the kicker job?

I spoke to my brother yesterday who is a Rams fan, and his take on Gallimore was that the Rams couldn't stop the run very well, which is the role he is being brought in to do here, so unfortunately this might not be the move to solve our problems. I hope he proves us wrong and plays the best football of his career.

Gay was not as good as in previous years, so why not look for a cheaper option?

He was brought in for depth. Nothing more nothing less

True, but with his primary focus being to spell Stewart/Buckner and be able to stop the run. Adebawore is more the 3rd guy on pass rushing downs. Davis was the man highlighted for that role last year, and woefully under performed, alongside Taven Bryan.

Granson is headed to Philly.

The Colts signed CB Corey Ballentine

Looks like mostly a STer, but he has had 11 starts in 6 seasons.

Gallimore is a depth 3 technique, essentially a hopefully somewhat improved Taven Bryan. That said, depth at DT was desperately needed, and still is even after this signing.
