The Steelers just beat the Ravens in their most recent game.

With wins over the Ravens AND the Browns, their grade as a team for the 2023 season is still incomplete. They have been very erratic.

o

Maybe. They've also been steam rolled twice and barely squeaked by LAV.

Correct. That's why I said that they have been very erratic.

I'm not as interested in win/loss (obviously I want us to win and to never give up but we lack talent). This team is not going anywhere this year. It is about development. I'll be interested in watching to see if Leonard can start to force turnovers or if he will be cut at the end of the year, does the offensive line continue to improve especially our backups, do we actually have depth on the defensive line with Grover out and can the defensive backfield continue to grow. I am concerned about our receiver corp, no one is special in any way, but I have watched enough to believe the answer (a true number one receiver) isn't on this roster. I am thinking we may have found our slot and Pittman seems like a nice number two.

That defense is legit. Minshew may be in a cast by the end of the game. That would mean *shudder* Sam Ehlinger. Yeesh.

Marvin Harrison Jr?

WR Alec Pierce had been listed as QUESTIONABLE in the injury report, but he is active and will play today.

Colts Inactives:

RT Braden Smith
TE Kylen Granson
G Ike Boettger
CB Ameer Speed
DE Isaiah Land

Forget about MH Jr., He'll be gone before the Colts pick. You can get a great WR without being in the top 5. Here are some of the best WRs playing right now.

Justin Jefferson
Tyreek Hill, Dolphins
Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals
Cooper Kupp, Rams
Davante Adams, Raiders

Only Chase was drafted in the top 5.

Heart colts 23 browns 20
Head browns 28 colts 6

After nearly 50 years as a colts fan you'd think I'd be numb to disappointment but last Sunday was oddly disquieting. Maybe it's just because I hate those bastards in Jax but I hate games that make me think we will be discussing the merits of tanking by mid season.

Gardner Minshew will channel his inner 1968 Earl Morrall, and lead the Colts to victory this afternoon.
