1, Freeland is going to be good. He was good today, in his second start. Very impressive.
2. Downs is already good. He’s like a poor man’s TY. Not as explosive but a better possession guy. Very reliable already. 3. I really like Ogletree. He has skills. 4. What can you say about Franklin? He’s a stud. 5. Brent’s is going to be a stud. He reminds me a lot of prime Vontae Davis. Big, physical, and skilled. 6. Could not be more impressed with Steichen. That dude can coach. 7. Fries is also very good. |

One upvoted post was like, "How can we not do our strength against an average defense?" We're still in the phase where our guys playing well will be labeled as their guys playing bad. If they can stay healthy, eventually they'll open eyes. |
We have an excellent defensive line against the run generally. Got to give some props to Ballard, Ebukam, Bryan and Martin have all played some really good snaps. Paye and Dayo are generally pretty good against the run as well.
Brents looks like he is going to be good. The other rookie Jones didn't get picked apart, not sure how well he played. But not getting torched is a good starting point. Breeland held up well, much better overall performance than last week. Fries has been a really pleasant surprise, consistency wise, he has possibly been our best offensive lineman. It looks like we might actually have 8 offensive lineman that are serviceable in Raimann, Nelson, Kelly, Fries, Smith, Freeland, French and Sills. Which is certainly not something i thought at the start of the season. We have got some production out of our 7th rounders in recent years, in commentary they mentioned Fries, Jones and Franklin, there is also Rodney Thomas and Matthew Adams wasn't too shabby either. |
Screw the "experts" and power rankings... I hope we keep flying under the radar before bursting out and surprising teams!

Great game, kudos to everyone. I can't say this enough, CONVERT TO A GRASS FIELD. How many fuckin' concussions does it take? Think of it as an investment. Even ARs injury might not have happened on grass or at least not as severe.

I don't see the NFL folding on that, ever. |
