Now I need you to understand the difference for a fg from 35 or 42 shouldn’t make that much of a difference for an NFL kicker it’s not like we went from 40 to 50 or something crazy Run the RPO if it’s wide open great… get an easy first down and make it a “chip shot” if not throw it away or take a short loss who cares still a make able FG unless you have the leg strength of an 8th grader that shanks every clutch kick |

One day removed, and the biggest fault I have with Reich is not having these guys ready to go. WAY to sloppy for the first 3 quarters.
The play calling wasn’t really a concern for me, other than they can’t keep giving Taylor 31 carries or he won’t last the year. Reichs play calling tends to even out over time. Jerry Hughes interception was a fluke. The dude had the game of his life. For those wanting him fired, I’m sure Pagano is available. Probably Jim Caldwell too. |

But the play-calling was balanced. We just had the ball for 90 plays (really 88 after two fumbled snaps). The NFL average is like 60-65 plays. We ran 38 times and passed 50 times. That's a 44/56 run-pass ratio. |

And while I agree with your point that Reich did Blankenship no favors by moving a critical FG back, it was still moved back to a range that should be makeable for most NFL kickers. To top it off, this is a FG kicker who doesn't have much leg strength. The only way a FG kicker who has weak leg strength should be on a team is if that guy is absolute pure money inside of 45 yards. Like his percentage needs to be near 100%. |
