Braden Smith is the best athlete on the line and his combine numbers prove that out. Hence his seamless
transition from OG to OT.

I think Braden Smith is a natural guard and would be better there.

That’s what the front office thought when they drafted him. He’s now the highest rated oline on the team at RT.

And what makes you an expert? It has been stated, Smith is a natural guard and mostly played that position at Auburn.

He might be a pro bowl guard given the chance.

We already a pro bowl guard and have not made the playoffs. The TEAM needs him at RT, where he has produce excellent results. You play people where they are needed.

I agree. The point I was making is he might be a more natural guard and much better than Glowinski.

And who do you play at RT if you move him? There isnt an option RIGHT NOW.

I dont want Nelson at LT, but the team is running out of options. If (fill in the blank) gets hurt today, who is next up for LT?

The reality is that the Colts need to shop for an offensive tackle, regardless of any decision from castonzo. Moving Smith solves a problem they dont have.

I never said they move Smith right now. The season is over or will be over even if they make the playoffs. They won't go far. The middle of the line would be phenomenal with Nelson, Kelly and Smith. Glowinski is an average guard.

The problem is we would need 2 tackles as Castonzo is probably done. Might need 2 anyway as they might not be able to keep Smith when his contract is up. Kelly already got paid and Nelson is going to be the highest paid guard ever. Not sure they can devote that much money to OLine and keep Smith.
