Cmon not the obvious guys ofcourse, but Langford? Dorsett on the trade block?

Langford was a solid player that was consistent on the field and cut for a failed physical?? GTFO that's some Grigson shit right there

He was notorious for cutting guys for failed physical/IR BS Boom Herron come to mind

They need to clear the deck and bring in all new QBs outside of luck and maybe Morris for giggles. If there is any chance Luck misses the opener they should be considering RG3 or Kaepernick even at this point, even if they suck balls. For a game or 3 they might get us 1 or 2 wins to give us a chance. Not sure what else better is out there yet. What we have now is a steaming pile of 1st overall draft pick.

I disagree

At this point we roll with who we have. Let them fall where they may

You don't roll with Tolzien. Maybe Morris, but not Tolzien.

Tolzien is the checkdown king and refuses to throw the ball down the field.

I just want a backup QB to Luck who isn't afraid or incapable of throwing the ball down the field.

I haven't seen tolzien enough to make that statement. But you roll with whoever it is as backup.

As if we needed the stats to show us what our lying eyes are telling us:

In 7 preseason games from 2016 and 2017:

28 drives / 8 TD, 4 FG, 14 punts / Morris (2 turnovers)
30 drives / 3 TD, 4 FG, 17 punts / Tolzien (6 turnovers)

06 3-and-outs in 28 drives / 21.4% / Morris
12 3-and-outs in 30 drives / 40.0% / Tolzien

112 attempts / 75 completions / 67.0% / 879 yards / 7.84 yards per attempt / 5 TD / 1 INT / 101.7 QBR / Morris
091 attempts / 60 completions / 66.0% / 607 yards / 6.67 yards per attempt / 2 TD / 2 INT / 083.0 QBR / Tolzien

Granted, Tolzien was typically playing against the "1s" and Morris has been playing against the "2s & 3s"......

I really hope Morris opens this week's preseason game and gets at least 1 or 2 series with the starters. Put one more data point on the chart before making the call on who to start against the Rams.

Walk Worthy,
