Regarding Bill Brooks, he played with the Colts from 1986 though 1992, and the Colts lost all 3 games in which they played the Steelers in that time-frame (1987, 1991, and 1992.) ...... you may be thinking of 1984, when Mike Pagel threw a 54-yard TD pass to Ray Butler with 34 seconds to play in the 4th quarter to give the Colts a 17-16 win.

That game was sort of the breakthrough for me as an Indy Colts fan! I've spoken / typed about it before- my Colts allegiance goes back to the Joe Washington Pats ass kicking- yep, have loved the Colts and hated the Pats for damn near 50 years now! |
