Totally agree with everything you're saying. Maybe AR kept telling Steichen and the coaching staff that he'd start putting in the time and didn't. Then when he started to regress and he still wasn't putting in the time (or maybe putting in less) then the coaching staff decided they had it.

Another thought I had is that AR tested positive for PEDs, etc. But I think teams have to announce when a player is suspended by the league??

More than likely it's that Irsay said we need to make the playoffs this year or else.

He then basically points the finger back at Irsay for the commentary being planted that AR was this low work ethic bum in order to provide some cover for the org. This despite them telling us for 2 years he is the antithesis of that. Then went on to blast this whole "the D is doing their job" bullshit- 30th against the run, 27th against the pass, last in 4th quarter yardage, 30th on 3rd down, yada yada yada... this DEFENSE SUCKS!

Glad AR is back, hope he comes back and miraculously goes on a rip and we see tons of potential and feel good about next year. Then I hope Ballard, Steichen, and Bradley are all fucking shit canned the day after the season for fucking once again making the Colts the laughingstock of the NFL!
