From Up to the Minute: The #Dolphins have had trade conversations about pass-rusher Robert Quinn, who could be released for salary reasons if they don't find a partner. Another productive pass-rusher potentially on the market.

Robert Quinn anyone?

Not the dominating performer like he was earlier in his career (19.0 sacks, 34 QB hits, 23 TFL, 57 tackles in 2013).
Played 30 of 32 games in 2017/2018 turning in an average of 7.5 sacks, 13 QB Hits, 9 TFL and 35 tackles over those two seasons.
Nice situational piece to help younger kids develop but NOT the premier pass rusher that is going to fuel our front seven.
At a cap hit of $12.932m for 2019 (and UFA in 2020), I would say no to a trade. Wait to see if MIA releases him and get him for less or just keep Sheard for 2019 as the Elder Statesman.
Walk Worthy,
