I hope this guy can play other positions as well on the line.

Wow this does not look good for Jeff at all.

I think its Jeffs last year. Remember the trading a 1st rd pick for a 2nd rd pick then using it to take a LT when we had a stud there?

This looks like a poor mans version of that.

wow, this is wierd.

I wonder if Saturday told Polian that this will be his last year. He seems like the sort of guy who might do that.

I hope this guy like I said can play guard too. I am sure he can.

If not whatever........

Picking centers is so BORING. And we got 2.

Overall: Justice arrived at Wake Forest in 2003 and was redshirted. He appeared in 50 games in four years for the Demon Deacons (2004-'07), closing out his career with 39 consecutive starts dating back to 2005, when he won the starting job. As a senior, Justice received the ACC's Jacobs Blocking Trophy, awarded annually to the league's top lineman. Justice is a blue-collar player that uses quick feet, technique and work ethic to mask his lack of ideal size, power and explosiveness. Though he is not an ideal fit for every team, Justice displays enough potential to develop into a starter for a zone-blocking offense (Examples: Broncos, Colts, Packers and Texans). Those teams should consider Justice a good value early on Day 2

Obviously they think that Pollak will be either a guard or center and this guy will do the same thing. I don't know what is going on with Saturday, I just think that they think we need to address the guard position we are in.

The guys are athletic and versatile - can probably play guard as well as Special teams. We got 2 TE's, 2 C, an ILB, a DE - we drafted needs, as well as prepared for the future and strengthened our Special teams play.
On offense so far a WR and RB that I think were low rounds but could turn out to be good for us. I think this is a good draft. In future years we might be forced to draft positions based on injuries, free agency, or retirements. This draft BP I think drafted a mix of "best available" with "depth" that is something we really needed.

Everyone always complains about the draft - but I think we're doing pretty well.

I think Justice is a good pick. Pollack will be a guard for 2 years, allowing Justice to battle Gandy as back-up to Saturday. Gandy will be a FA soon. When Saturday leaves we have 2 options to replace him. Of those 3; Gandy (if re-signed), Pollack, and Justice we could come away with 2 starters and primary back-up after Jeff is gone.

It will be Sad to watch Saturday retire, whenever he does- but at least the Colts are planning for the future.

I agree. We just drafted the two best centers in the draft, both of whom can play guard while they're waiting in the wings. We had plenty of complaints about the play of our interior line last year. Well now we've got a talent infusion and some competition for the two guard spots this year, and two potential Saturday replacements down the road.

This is crazy. Only the Colts would draft 3 Centers!!!! I won't doubt it too much right now because they're the best at what they do but 3????

We're going to corner the market. Later this pre-season, when teams are desperate for centers, we will trade one of these rare and sought after guys for someone like John Henderson. :D

Not all of these guys are going to play center people. They go for athletic linemen that can play multiple positions. They drafted three guys for the interior of the line. Odds are two will pan out. So we most likely grabbed a guard and center for the long run. Yeah Saturday is getting older, and he is in the last year of his contract. The colts center is very important for the line calls, so hopefully they will get the best guy possible out of three guys and the others can play guard.

Yeah, 3 Centers are interesting, but... You've got to figure that only one of them will end up playing there. In the short term, all 3 will compete for Jake Scott's old spot, and one of them will shift over to Center when Saturday retires.

At the very least, the Colts have added depth to the interior of their OL, and that's never a bad thing.

Especially when you consider how poorly the interior OL played last year due to injuries/playing hurt.
