And the Colts aren’t??

Despite being beat up all season, the Colts have lost only one game by more than a TD. And in that one game, the Colts were kicking a go-ahead FG attempt with 5 minutes left.

This team has a +1 point differential. While they aren't as good as we would have hoped, let's not act like they're the Bengals.

If the Colts win this game, it will have been the second time this season in which they have shocked the world (the first being the win over the Chiefs in Kansas City.)

Earlier this week, the Saints placed defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins and defensive end Marcus Davenport on injured reserve.

The Saints also won’t have safety Vonn Bell (knee), linebacker Kiko Alonso (quadricep), offensive guard Andrus Peat (forearm), cornerback Patrick Robinson (calf) and cornerback Johnson Bademosi (foot), having ruled them out.

Their left tackle is also nursing a high ankle sprain, but is expected to play.

The Saints D is hurting with all these losses, I look for the Colts to try to run the ball often and try keep Brees and Thomas on sidelines.

We've been consistently inconsistent so who the hell knows. If we were to win I think it's largely with the same gameplan we had against Kansas. Can we execute it as well as we did then? I don't know......hope so. Go Colts. 💙🏈💙🏈

He was signed in the spring. Luck was 1 JB was 2 . He was brouht in basically to compete for a 3rd backup/practice squad player.

I was one of them, I left after last week !! Brissett just cannot sustain drives !! My question to everyone is this, would you rather draft a pocket passer that can improvise in the pocket, or a RPO guy that would rather run with the ball? I myself would take the pocket passer.

In my best Jim Mora voice. Number One? NUMBER ONE? Are you kidding me? The only way he's even a good number two is in the bathroom.

Just from what little I know, it seems that the play-calling on offense was good, but the execution was awful. Guys got open and Jacoby missed them by four or five yards.

On defense, the scheme was the issue. Is Kenny Moore that good? If so, we didn't pay him enough. Yes, Thomas is tough to cover, but he was more than open on most plays.

Is that even a question? History has shown that pocket passers are the way to go. Running qb's usually get hurt and have shortened careers because of it.

I wouldn’t say I was still in JB’s crowd, but I wasn’t fully convinced that he couldn’t grow into a decent passer.

I am now. He’s just not accurate enough.

We have to upgrade.

RPO, doesn't mean the QB has to run the ball. RPO can use a pocket passer.

As for running QB's, they get hurt eventually. The more hits a QB takes, the shorter his career. Jackson is an exciting dynamic player. His kind only come out every so often. Vick was the last guy like that. Still it only takes one hit and that hit will happen eventually. There is a reason Drew Brees and Tom Brady are still playing and giving their teams a chance to win. I would take a scrambler fine, I would definitely take a pocket passer. Everyone will follow the Jackson trend for awhile and then we will have a slew of injuries at the position and some pocket passer will come along tearing up the league and the trend will shift again. Just find the best QB you can and build around his style.

I agree, ideally, I want a pocket passer who can scramble and run when needed.

I want a quarterback who can read defenses like Peyton Manning, who is as tough as Ben Roethlisberger, who can throw as hard as Bert Jones or as soft and easy as Jim Plunkett, who is as mobile as Michael Vick, Randall Cunningham, and Fran Tarkenton, and who has the brains of Andrew Luck ........ I plan on making a deal with Mr. Rourke on Fantasy Island.

No, I don't believe that. He didn't have the heart for it. He was so beat up and rehab wasn't getting him to were he needed to be to survive on a football field.

You lose your love of something, you can't just go out there and be great. He was HONEST with the team and himself. You can't just like football and be great at it. It hurts too much. You need to love it.

I've been able to do something I love for a long time and I still love it. But it's getting harder. I can see where things will change for me. Football is so unforgiving. One day you have it and after a single play, things can change.

I know what I have said won't change anything. For some you won't understand it until what you love is taken from you.

I suspect that the numerous football injuries that he sustained while trying to play with the offensive line that he was working with between 2012 and 2016 were considerably more prevalent in her complaints than was the snowboarding injury.
