Really hard to gauge injuries for this Thursday game because the practices this week are walkthroughs and the Colts are speculating if the player would have participated in a full practice session for the injury report.

Nevertheless, here were some notes:

Reich on T.Y. Hilton: "We'll work with him on the side" to see if he'll be ready for Thursday.

"He's made good progress. I'm encouraged by that."

TY Hilton sounded like a man who wants to play Thursday, and is ready, but he stressed there are still two boxes left to clear before he is good to go. Final call will come from Frank Reich and Chris Ballard, he said

CB Pierre Desir says he'll be a game-time decision Thursday. Hasn't played since Oct. 20 vs. Houston.

He says he hasn't played a game at 100% this year outside of Week 3. That's what the long layoff has been about. Getting him back to full strength.

News discussed in other threads:

Frank Reich says Marlon Mack had a procedure Monday morning.

Khari Willis had concussion symptoms after the game. ... He's in the protocol.

Reich on replacing Marlon: Jonathan Williams and Jordan Wilkins will largely split his role. Nyheim Hines will get some work on first and second down while retaining his third down role.

Colts have not discussed putting Marlon Mack on injured reserve.

Wednesday update:

It appears Pierre Desir will play on Thursday night. There is no game injury status designation listed for him.

No surprises among the players ruled "Out" - Marlon Mack, Parris Campbell, Khari Willis, Shakial Taylor

Several players listed as "Questionable" - TY Hilton, Rock Ya-Sin, Eric Ebron, Mo Alie-Cox.

With both Ebron and Alie-Cox battling injuries, the Colts brought in five TE's for a workout yesterday. Ross Travis was one of the invited participants.

I'm guessing Funchess is ruled out as well.

Funchess isn't currently on the active roster - he is still on the Injured Reserve list. He hasn't participated in a full practice yet either - he is doing drills on his own.

I think he will. With Willis and Taylor already ruled out, Wilson won't be a healthy scratch at least.

Does it really matter
