Wow, a couple really interesting moves made this morning.

So much for Cain being some kind of wonderkind...

So Hoyer is obviously the starter tomorrow and Kelly is BU.

Anyone on here want to volunteer as WR tomorrow- damn...

Yeah, the Colts waived Cain and promoted WR Marcus Johnson from the practice squad.

Marcus looked good last year in the limited time he saw the field. He worked his way up to about 50% of the offensive snaps but then an injury ended his season.

The Colts waived recently acquired DT Kyle Peko to make room for Kelly.

Ugh...

I wonder if they will put him on the practice squad.

This is why we need a downvote button.

First. I'm not one of those that wants Kelly to start over anyone right now... but it would be nice to see him get some snaps in a blowout

Or even run a few plays his way during the game.

I laughed.

That said I'm a father in my 40s

WR Deon Cain cleared waivers and will be re-joining the Colts on their practice squad, per source. He’ll get to continue to develop in Indy.

12-4, nope, 15-4, SB...

In all reality- good, that would say to me this is just a need to get some seasoning and perhaps keep him in the fray in the event of even more WR depletion, vs it being something off the field that caused them to walk away...

You mean no one claimed the greatest wideout to ever play out wide!

Thank God he is back.... Colts went 0-2 when they put him on inactive before Steelers and waived before Dolphins. :D

Seriously hope he realizes this could be his last chance. Noone picked him up and teams need receiver help and obviously noone thought he could help them.

This is probably best for him. He has physical ability, he just needs to learn the nuances of the position. How to create separation in the pros and most importantly catch the ball. An off-season with Reggie Wayne would do wonders for him.

I hope we invest a draft pick in the position and take a guy who can do more than just run fast and might contribute after three years of training.
