Just to start some conversation around this game, here's some basic and not so basic stats about us vs the Steelers. Full disclosure, I have some good friends that are Steelers fans, and any other week but this one they are my second team.

The mother fucking Steelers are:
22-6 lifetime against us, including Baltimore
14-2 at home vs us (we won most recently in 2008, prior to that is was 1968, that's once in the last 50 years)
8-4 in Indy
5-0 vs Indy in the playoffs

Basically, until we show otherwise, we are Pittsburgh's bitch. Only one team has a batter winning percentage against us, the Carolina Panthers, against whom we are 1-5, a statistical aberration from a small sample size. We've won more often against the Patriots.

Offense:

PPG
Colts: 22.6 (16th)
Steelers: 21.4 (20th)

Passing YPG
Colts: 217.4 (23rd)
Steelers: 206.1 (26th)

Passing YPAttempt
Colts: 6.6 (19th)
Steelers: 6.4 (23rd)

Avg Passer Rating:
Colts: 98.9 (13th) (wtfg JB)
Steelers: 86.2 (21st)

Rushing YPG:
Colts: 128.4 (11th)
Steelers: 88.1 (28th)

Rushing YPG (road games):
Colts: 183.3 (3rd)!
Steelers: 78.3 (24th)

Rushing YPG (home games):
Colts: 87.2 (23rd)
Steelers: 78.3 (24th)

Defense:

Passing YAPG
Colts: 238.1 (15th)
Steelers: 233.6 (13th)

Passing YAPAttempt
Colts: 7.2 (19th)
Steelers: 6.6 (12th)

Avg Passer Rating Against:
Colts: 99.8 (22nd)
Steelers: 87.0 (10th) (this is likely the most worrisome stat)

Rushing YAPG:
Colts: 111.3 (20th)
Steelers: 103.0 (15th)

Rushing YAPG (road games):
Colts: 95.0 (11th)

Rushing YAPG (home games):

So you're saying there's a chance?Heh, oh sure, I think we have a very good chance, but this team doesnt suck. Their defense will eat us alive unless we can run the ball.
Conner has an injury but I dont know his status other than 'questionable.'

I'm not saying the Steelers a bad team but let's not give them too much credit either. Their 3 wins are against the Dolphins, Bengals and Titans. I think Colts step up big time and win this on by 2 TDs.

True... that was with Coaches that were not aggressive and not the best at in game adjustments overall. I'm looking forward to see what Reich does.

Connor is decent, but it's their oline that makes it possible.

this team is very capable of beating us especially if we play to their level. Good defense/ Needs to get those pass rushing linebackers out in space defending the pass. The middle of that dline is near immovable. Kellly and Glowinski will have their hands full. Our run game will have a tough time and without TY the passing game will be hard pressed to move things. Also their turnovers have sky rocketed since they traded for Fitzpatrick. That was a good trade.

Their passing offense is lackluster, their QB stares down his number one option. If we shut down their running game, and force them to pass, it should be to our advantage.
