Frank Reich did say Jabaal Sheard (knee) will “miss some time.”

Reich said Sheard had an MRI but the Colts aren’t sure yet if he will need surgery.

So in Colt terminology it is just a "Ding" and that translates to he will need to have his leg amputated, but he will be back by week 6......

Looking for a silver lining it gives the young pass rushers more reps.

Don't worry, the Colts were confident this offseason that they had plenty of pass rushers. I'm sure the depth is more than sufficient.

It’s a bummer but if this is a huge hit to this team we are in trouble

Jabaal Sheard recently underwent a procedure on one of his knees that will keep the veteran end out of training camp for an undetermined amount of time.

Until Sheard returns, Al-Quadin Muhammad’s workload with the No. 1 defense has greatly expanded. Rookie Ben Banogu normally would get meaningful reps, but he’s missed time with a hamstring injury.

On occasion, the coaching staff has adjusted to Sheard’s absence by moving tackle Margus Hunt to end. He’s been effective inside and outside the past two seasons, but was projected to focus on tackle this season.
