Few thoughts from #Colts first OTA practice:
» Both Devin Funchess + Parris Campbell looked good
» Gonna be fun to watch Justin Houston vs. Anthony Castonzo in camp
» TY Hilton was full-go and didn't look slowed at all

Couple picks today for Rock Ya-Sin. One during a session with other rookies/young guys. The other in a full team drill.
Also, hats off to T.Y. Hilton. If anybody had a free pass to sit out today, it was him. He was, of course, a full participant. #Colts

Couple takeaways from the #Colts 1st OTA:
-Devin Funchess did a little bit of everything, including a ‘go get that’ 50/50 ball over Pierre Desir
-Seemed like a defensive line/edge day for Ben Banogu
-Mo Alie-Cox had a nice day. He’s going to catch a TON of balls this spring

First look at the 2019 #Colts practicing in a full team session.
No Andrew Luck today due to a calf strain:

First OTA practice is in the books. Looked like a good day for Devin Funchess and Parris Campbell.
Justin Houston also looks like he’s wearing shoulder pads even when he’s not. #Colts

Frank Reich said any player who has any issue will be held out this spring. #Colts being extremely cautious with the idea of getting guys to camp.
Luck will be re-evaluated next week.

Post-practice thoughts: The two guys I was perhaps most impressed with today are the two new guys: Justin Houston and Devin Funchess. Whew, Houston is going to be a handful bc of his physicality. And Funchess is going to make some freak catches.

Maybe, just maybe Carolina was the wrong fit for Funchess and he is gonna have a breakout year.

Kind of like Eric Ebron didn't fit at Detroit !

Things got a little chippy today between Brissett and Funchess.

Some fire here from Jacoby Brissett, who clearly wasn’t happy with Devin Funchess after a play here at OTAs and let him know about it. Marlon Mack calmed Brissett down.

Funchess was pissed and required a little extra attention from an assistant coach after this. Had a quick word with him and Funchess seemed to calm down.
Also saw several reports that the defense ruled the day today. The offense was probably getting a bit frustrated. Really not that surprising considering the offense's timing is probably off from the offseason, from incorporating new players into the mix and running with the backup QB. I would expect the defense to rule the early part of the workouts / camp anyway.

Heard Kevin Bowen describe the scene on The Fan today....He said Brissett's accuracy was shit today and in 3 throws he threw two interceptions. The last was picked by Hairston who took it into the end zone. Per Bowen, Funchess got in Brisset's face and was throwing F bombs and Brisset started jawing back until Mack pulled Brisset back. Per Bowen, Funchess was being a Diva Douche but he also said that Brisset was trash today and the Defense had their way with the offense all day.
