Would you consider drafting Frank Clark, age 25(DE/Seattle) if he was available this year at pick #26?

Rumor Seahawks looking for a trade partner. Would you consider a sign and trade deal if Clark is signed to an agreeable long term contract before the trade?

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports unsigned franchise player DE Frank Clark could be traded ahead of the draft.

Clark has interest from "several teams," with Buffalo and the Jets among his known suitors. The Seahawks just gave Russell Wilson a new deal and need money for Bobby Wagner and Jarran Reed extensions. Trading Clark would free up the $17 million he's owed under the franchise tender. Clark would likely net Seattle a first-round pick.

Nope. I take the domestic violence stuff on a spectrum. I’d take Simmons, but Clark’s case is much worse.

Agreed. PR nightmare that Ballard, Irsay and the Colts don't need.

That, plus the fact that he wants a new contract in the 90mil. range, so Fuck no !!

I'm not sure how it all works, but here's what I see:

You give up a #1 (still cheap labor)
You get a 25 year old who has show ability, but you are paying top dollar for him.

You lose years of service at a higher price.

I'd rather they trade into the middle of the first round than do this deal.

The guy is the antithesis of what Ballard wants in a man's character. Getting kicked off Michigan for beating the crap out of a woman and plead guilty to felony robbery. This is not a guy I want to spend my Sunday's rooting for.

I’m sure he doesn’t “fit the culture” with Ballard.

Also sucker punched a teammate in training camp one year. Bad dude, I don't want him here.

Exactly, it is more than one incident that makes me not want him.

According to Rappaport on GMFB NFL Network, Colts, Chiefs, Jets among teams talking to Seattle 1 minute mark approx.

This is the time of year where I don't believe a damn thing teams are saying. Lies everywhere.
