I agree it is the right move for him. Guy had a successful career and made enough money to live a good life. He may find a role as a coach in the future if he wants.

Slauson did a lot for the Colts this year. Glad that he got to wear the horseshoe!

Apparently Reich and Ballard offered Slauson a position on the coaching staff but he declined. He wanted to spend some time with his family first.

He said he hopes to revisit that possibility in the future.

My guess is he’ll be back on Reich’s staff within 5 years. Reich took time off for family and His faith before he got back into football. Seems like both are quality people
