Ballard was significantly better in Year 2 once he had his whole scouting department in place. If we stay good then you can expect other teams to raid Ballard’s underlings as well.

That said, I share the sentiment.

His scouting dept got even better for this yr. I cant find all the names he added but there is some real talent coming in that dept

I've been skeptical at times of Ballard but I don't see how anyone else deserved it more this year.

I'll be interested to see what he does with the war chest he's built.
