View Full Version : JMV--Big Colts News Coming Tonight

Per JMV on his radio show right now, something big with the Colts is going down tonight. He says it's "substantial" news and "It will make fans go 'huh?'"

JMV is not giving any details but he did confirm that it's not Training Camp location (good God, he'd get killed if THAT was the news that's sending his listeners into a tizzy) and that it's not a 3rd place AFC South banner (even I had to live with that one).

JMV also said that Ballard "seems to be onboard at least with one year for Chuck Pagano", so my guess is also off.

I do wonder what it could be, at this stage in the offseason, but I guess we're about to find out.

JMV says it'll be a talker for tomorrrow amongst Colts fans and that he'll have this "subject of speculation" on his show tomorrow to talk about it.0

JMV already said it's not Hard Knocks.

Here's the hints:

1. Not Hard Knocks.

2. It's regarding someone, as that certain someone will be on his show tomorrow.

2a) In the interim, JMV expects this to be a talker that'll get Colts fans talking.

3. Reportedly the Colts will NOT announce it themselves. That would seem to eliminate any player/coach transactions.

4) He said that no one on his Twitter feed had guessed it yet, so it would seem that this will be clear out of nowhere.

Maybe Ballard reviewed all the Colt games and saw how pathetic Pagano was and told Irsay, no fucking way is this guy coaching any games under my watch. One can only hope.

He HAS to be aware if this turns out to be underwhelming, he's gonna get flat out killed for it.

Sounds like the radio version of click bait. It's not going to live up to the hype.

Yep, doesn't sound like it's anything big at all, just trying to put Colts fans in a frenzy to listen to his show. As I said he jumped the shark.

Vinatieri is trying to break a Guinness world record this weekend. That's probably what it is.

Things to make Colt fans go "huh?" : Geathers retirement due to his neck injury; Luck retirement due to taking too much of a beating for 5 years. Obviously I hope it's neither.

Just pointing out the idiocy of bumping old threads all the time like he does.

I wish it was set up to autolock any thread over 3 weeks old.

I think that would be 10x more annoying.

What would be better is if two times would be displayed on the list of threads - the time stamp of the last post (which is currently displayed) AND the time stamp of the original post of the thread. So before you even click on the thread to open it up, you can see that it is 2 years old. Some forums on the internet have both dates displayed, others do not. I haven't looked to see if that is an option in user settings on this forum or maybe that is something that the admins can set up through admin settings.
