How is it a person can be a total failure and still get interests for jobs in the NFL. Grigson is getting looks from the Raiders and 49ers and Pagano is getting head coaching interviews.

One team's crap is another team's treasure.

Maybe they both have some value, but just should not be put in charge of a team...EVER!

They have both been in the league for awhile. You would think they would be good for something.
I am surprised pagano is getting hc looks. He was a disaster. Grigson will never be a gm again.

What you read on a paper resume hold value to some.
Pagano shows a winning record
Grigson shows GM of the year
Built team that went to AFC title
We know as Colts fans its crap but to them its better than what they have had.

Damn were they born in the 1800's?

And to a certain degree, a GM / front office should complete their due diligence. Pagano may have something to offer to a Team that the landscape in Indianapolis could not take advantage of. I certainly cant imagine what that would be In the case of Pagano or Grigson, but my opinion is bised by watching these fuckers week in and week out for years. Other teams' leadership orgs have likely not had that "benefit."
Pagano's resume shows a winning record, but also shows the NE punt fake.

I think the biggest problem with Grigson is not the complete and utter failure and free agency and drafts beyond his first one but the fact it seems all the players hated him. Not really good for your team culture.
I think Pagano is fine as a coordinator or assistant, just not as a head coach

Pagano seems like he can coach up DBs. And with the right players he can be a DC. Never a HC though. Bad idea.
Hard to know what Grigson is good at. He traded up for TY Hilton. He signed some solid players to solid contracts in FA. Also made some bad moves, made worse non-moves, and seemed like an arrogant jackass. He's not a leader but he might have some scouting ability.

A lot of it is this. There aren't a lot of good candidates out there. And Pagano, as bad as he was, isn't much worse than the guys who just got fired. Except Gase, I think he can be successful ultimately.

I thought we had established that to be Griff Whalen's fault. I mean, he never should have snapped it, right?
(I'll show myself out...)
Whiff Gralen should never have been on the field unless he was playing ST punt coverage. Where are lots of things you can hang on Whiff, but this isnt one of them.

I read where Mike Mayock from NFLN got Raiders GM job. Maybe Grigson is wanted for the janitor position.
