Some tough road games (Chiefs, Chargers, Steelers and Saints), but other than that it doesn't look so bad to me. We can take out most of the teams as they are currently assembled.

We are going to be even better next year, so not worried about it.

Saints at home is brutal. Chiefs and Chargers also tough. See what the Steelers are like next year. The rest I can deal.

We should be and some of those teams will not be nearly as good likely. I like where this team is, playing very well with a bunch of really young players with upside, some very good draft picks and a fuck ton of cap space. If Ballard is as good as we think the table is set for a dynasty.

With 9 draft picks coming up and over 100 million in cap space according to Colts Wire, Ballard has the chance to build a REAL monster. The future is damn bright for the Colts and Colt fans.

Spot on. Often in the NFL a schedule that seems brutal in April seems weak in December.

Almost all the tough games are road games. That said, I think the 2019 team will be capable of winning all of them. It won't happen that way, but there aren't any games that I look at and think "that's definitely a loss".

So its the :
Division games
NFC South
AFC West
Dolphins/Steelers based on division finish
I always state, its so hard to say in January or even before the season which will be hard, which won't. A lot changes and the expectations about so many are often wrong.
But facing the AFC West with the Chargers and Chiefs, plus the Saints and Falcons in the south, are the tough ones. Four top notch QBs in particular where the secondary and pass D really has to step up their game.
Steelers, who knows what will happen. They seem to be in chaos. Missed the playoffs. Word is Brown may have been suspended the last game, not really clear there, all very vague. Never easy to face Roethlisberger, but the team was pretty mediocre this year, especially down the stretch
The Panthers have taken a downturn as well, lost like there lost 10 games or so. Cam is hurt and has alluded to the fact he is not sure he can make it back to his prior level of play. That would be a killer for them. One of their OL retired.

A few thoughts:
1. We could go 8 and 0 at home
2. Chargers play better on the road than at home
3. The entire AFC South much play the Charger and Chiefs next year

On paper it seems to be a tougher schedule, especially those road games.
But I expect this team to be significantly improved next year so I'm not as
concerned as I might be. One plus is that I see a lot of prime time games out
of this.
