A backup safety (Rolan Milligan) was cut a day or so ago to make room for this move. Milligan, incidentally, was himself only elevated from the practice squad last week.

On a related note, Collins spot on the practice squad was quickly taken by, you guessed it, Phillip Walker.

I think it will depend on how Nate Hairston's hip holds up during warm-ups. Hairston was limited in Thursday's practice but then did not participate in Friday's practice. If he is a no-go, the Colts may opt for a healthy body at the end of the bench.
