Honestly, I think the Jaguars are going to blow everything up after this season. Too many cultural problems to just fix with a draft. And I wouldn't be surprised if Jalen Ramsey talks his way out of JAX or is viewed by Coughlin to be part of the problem.

So, it has to be asked: would you be interested in Ramsey, if the price was right?
My answer would be: hell yes. He does some obnoxious things on the field, but it's mostly because he kicks his assignment's ass every snap. He has no off-field issues and is one of the best corners I have ever seen. He would allow this scheme to mix man-zone to the extent Eberflus would probably like to, and not feel pressured to blitz when Eberflus only wants to rush 4.
Plus it takes away a game-wrecker 2x a year, and puts him on your side.

As you mentioned, the jags would jettison him because of cultural problems on the team. That is the one reason Ballard won’t, and shouldn’t, bring him in. I don’t think we are at the point yet, in just one season, to having the culture Ballard wants. Not completely. And then it’ll need to mature, and *then* you can bring a guy like that.

I don’t know – why would we want a player who, despite all-world skills AND production, is so intensely disliked by his team that they want to get rid of him? Giant red flag. If Coughlin truly does view him as a cancer, that would tell me a lot. Sounds like a bad idea to me.

Jags would not trade Ramsey to a division opponent. They would have plenty of other offers outside the division and would go with one of those.

Even though he is a good player I don't see Ballard bringing him in.

Absolutely not......not because he runs his mouth about opponents to the media but because he runs his mouth about his teammates to the media. That needs to stay in house and destroys team unity very quickly. He is a culture killer.

In case you guys are too lazy to read the attached article let me summarize it for you....Ramsey said: It wasn't my fault. They ran the ball. I'm a passing down kind of player.
Real example of leadership right there.

Talent alone, of course I would. He's really good.

Didn’t Ballard just sign a guy to the practice squad with some problems that is not as talanted as Ramsey?? So it’s, IMO, a possibility.

God I fucking hope he doesn't end up with NE, they seem to get all the talent. I will say this we are gaining on them. Give us a couple of years.

No, it's not a possibility, because the Jags wouldn't trade him to a division rival. It's not going to happen.
