He has been considered by some to at least be mentioned in the running for MVP.

He should be a lock for Comeback Player.

They'd have to make the playoffs for him to even be considered for MVP.

He will not be considered even at that point. It will go to Brees.

He has been mentioned by some during pre game shows.

MVP is Brees unless Mahomes just overwhelms with TDs. Even then Mahomes will probably just get OPOY.

And Luck will get CBPOY.

And JJ Watt will get nothing because fuck JJ Watt.

you need to see the entire season before making the choice, but unless things radically change, Brees would get my vote.

That's not my choice.

It is pretty hard to argue against Brees right now.

Unless we use last night's game.

Ball in your hands, 2 minutes left, need a FG to tie or TD to win.....and he throws an INT.

That was an ugly, way off target throw.

Walk Worthy,

Yeah, Brees is in the lead at the quarter pole, but it isn't like he's Secretariat at the Belmont. A handful of guys could overtake him with strong finishes and another game or two from Brees like last night's.

For instance, what if Luck finishes with something like 52 TDs, 5,000 yards, <15 INTs while leading the Colts to 10 straight wins to close out the year? That would be hard to vote against if Brees doesn't maintain his pace from the first 3/4 of the season.

At least that handful doesn't include TB12.
