This is why you just cant rule out a olinemen with the first pick.

You just cant.

No other QB has taken the beaten Luck has taken the last few years and the stats bear it out.

I was almost certain that hurt the shoulder vs the Jets in week 2. But, maybe that was a different less significant injury

Played for 2 years hurt I'm ready to see this guy back at 100% with a good O line

I have been preaching defense, defense and more defense. But I would be ecstatic if Lamp was our choice at #15. Need to protect #12.

If we want Lamp I am thinking it may be better to trade down, if possible.

If there's no one better that's worth taking at 15 (which I don't find plausible) then finding a trade partner might be difficult. Clark is the RT of the future and I think will be a good starter. He had 1st round talent and just needed/needs coaching. With good starters at center and RT we don't really need a 1st round RG. I want to see what Haeg can do, and the defense still needs young playmakers to build around.

Using back-to-back mid-1sts on interior OL is such an ass-backwards way of building a roster.

It is, but I would prefer it to the other extreme which was Grigson's strategy.

No it's not an interior OL will have more of an impact than any defensive player we draft at 15

An interior lineman will do nothing to beat Tom Brady. Keep your eye on the prize. A competent o-line means the Colts get demolished again by the Patriots in the playoffs if they don't have a special D.

or Andy could speed up his release and stop being an early Rothlesburger QB, or the Colts could get smart and have more plays with short quick drop backs and less 7 step drops. The OL hs not been good, but Luck and the coaching do make the job harder.

That's no shock. Totally expected and he is on track. IIRC, that opens up a roster spot until he is ready to go. Business as usual.

Certainly to be SB contenders I think we are several pieces and a probably few years away. A solid draft and a few good free agents signings and they are competitive and in the playoffs.

Don't agree, last season doesn't matter no guarantee the Jags or Titans will repeat their success.

Shit doesn't carry over from season to season anymore

Healthy Luck, Hooker, nice additions from a good draft position and a new coaching philosophy teams will not be prepared for can make a huge difference

(vs. TEXANS, 9/30)

Luck had a career day today, in a losing cause.

464 yards passion, 4 TD's, and 0 INT's.

It might have been a monumental comeback win if Marcus Johnson had not dropped a pass that was right in his hands on 3rd down, when the Colts were driving deep in Texans territory in overtime ........ they subsequently had to settle for a field goal, instead of a 1st down and a possible/potential game-ending touchdown.

Agreed and yet I saw some idiots on Facebook calling for a new QB and putting this loss on him. Makes you question what game they are watching.
