@AdamSchefter
Former Packers’ OC Joe Philbin, who left Green Bay in 2012 to become the Miami Dolphins’ HC, is expected to rejoin Mike McCarthy’s staff, sources told @RobDemovsky.

Try not to cry, everyone.

As someone who lives up in WI I'd say the consensus here is that it is a
welcome move. He used to be the OC in GB and the general feeling is that
that offense hasn't quite been the same since he left. I have no strong
feelings one way or another as to the job he did here. Obviously the line
has not performed well. On the other hand, outside of Costanzo and Kelly
there is no one you can hang your hat on. The unit suffers from a severe
lack of talent which has been the case for the last 10 years or so. Couple
that with an offensive scheme whose objective seems to be to have the QB
annihilated and I don't know that there was much he could have done.

He did supposedly beat the desk for Le’Raven Clark and then failed to develop him, but I don’t think anyone is saying that Philibin is solely responsible for the OL continuing to suck.

Constant injuries and retarded scheme play a big role.

He was actually a pretty good OC when he was at GB

When he was there, he was oc but McCarthy called the plays if I remember right.
