Mack's coming out party today.

Pags would love to have him
Pagano has no balls.

We get the ball back. Which RB will we see?

If I had to guess, I would say that we see Marlon Mack.

There's the stupidity again, run Gore up the middle on first down and lose a yard.

Wild idea but I think some teams would use Mack as their feature back.

Wonder if this will be the week the Colts brass realizes what Mack is capable of........NAH.....who am I trying to kid?

Well, we did, and got 35 yards. Then back to Gore. SMH

Lucky we have a clutch kicker!!

WaynesWorld87
10-08-2017, 04:35 PM
This coaching staff is so fucking stupid. Mack is hot today, rips off a 35 yard run, then doesn't touch the ball again the rest of the drive.

HoosierinFL
10-08-2017, 04:35 PM
one thing is for sure, Vinatieri is the greatest clutch kicker to ever play the game.

Brissette nearly repeated what Brett Favre did in the 2009 NFC Championship game against the Saints ...... he passed up running the ball in the open field to get his team into better field goal range, and nearly threw an INT.

Thank goodness AV is a field goal kicking robot. This coaching staff tried to fuck up yet another should-be-win against a bad team.

It's going to continue that way until Pagano is gone. The team won in spite of Pagano trying his damnest to lose.

It's just mind boggling that there are those who still defend him. Worst coach in the league, BY FAR.

Shanarat the younger is bad but it's his first year. Pagano has NO excuse.

Another blown double digit lead and eek out a win vs a bad team.

Luck is going to be out at least two more games.

Going to be a long season.

Just Dam, Apballin & Irsay defend him I believe. Not sure they are watching the same game we are.

Not a single game this season has Pagano proven to be worthy of the head coaching position

Two blowouts and three games with large 4th quarter leads that evaporated with two wins much harder than they should have been.

Just so many stupid mistakes. TY drops, Moncrief holding, the ill conceived punt return trick play, the equally bad timeout before the field goal, and on and on and on it goes.

It makes for an unsatisfactory viewing experience.

What was it, minus 87 in the 2nd half coming into today? 3rd worst in NFL history.

He won't see the field next week.

Or even worse, they will put him in the game and try to run him between the tackles, as they had done before today when he was healthy, when his strength is obviously his speed and outside runs.

And seriously, he has had a great career, but I am tired of hearing about Gore and how great he is every game. Fine, he has had a great career, but he is an average at best back now. He had a decent game today, good job. Not saying he is bad and he is the least of the problems for the Colts. But we aren't playing this game on a curve or with some points for handicapping, just because he is "good for his age" right now basically, and keeps inching up the chart of all time leading rushers, I don't care.

We damn near blew a double digit fourth quarter lead at home to the Browns, too. Fortunately, the Browns are even worse than the 49ers and we managed to hold them off and win in regulation.

That lateral on the punt was pure hubris.

The nerve to attempt that shit when you know the offense is far from firing and have struggled to score any points at that point.

To trade a great field position for a stupid trick it's testament of ineptness and that you still don't fucking learn.

I guess the logic was "maybe special teams can help the offense out if we can get a nice return for better field position or even score"
but that was just stupid, esp since Bray had room for a return anyway.

That pissed me off too about it

Not only was it a dumb idea in general, I was watching and thinking "Bray finally has some room for a return, should be great field position!"

What pisses me off most is that the play if executed as designed requires Bray to do 2 things he's not good at. 1. Make a quick decision re whether Desir is open enough to do something with the ball once he receives it and then 2. Accurately through the ball all the way across to the other side of the field. How many times have we seen Bray make bad decisions re running the ball out of the end zone let alone now saddling him with this level of complexity? Forget the argument that we shouldn't need a trick play to beat the 49rs. This play as designed and with the talent we have is just too low a probability to even think about taking out of the playbook

What's sad is that it doesn't even seem to crack the top 10 list of Pagano fuck ups. Even though it was an incredibly stupid move.

I apologize if I'm mistaken, but wasn't the pass/lateral thrown to Hogan, who had only been with the team for 3 weeks? Not that it matters, because I believe that Desir may have been /the Colts one week longer.

My point is, that you don't try plays like this, unless all impact players have practiced this play for months, not weeks.

Again this is no different than Pags stupid swinging gate lineup vs the Pats. I don't care if the Special Teams Coached called it or not.

Pags in both instances, had a chance to veto it or call a TO, and make things right.

Nope, not Pags. Hell I'm surprised he hasn't fired Tom McMahon and replaced him with Tom Simpson.

You may be right. I was watching on a livestream and it froze up during that play. I thought it was Desir as Rick Venturi was dissecting the play on one of the Monday talk shows and he mentioned the throw was intended for Desir but he may have named the wrong guy.....no matter it was fucked up.
