A third rounder no less, and here we sit still with one side of the line that truly has no rush whatsoever. Ballard- get off your fucking hands!

I'm sure he's trying. Traditionally, AFC teams prefer to move their players to NFC teams.

Third rounder for a rental (free agent at end of year) who we are not going to re-sign (does anyone think we are going to ante up for this guy when we have so many of our own to sign?) who has missed 22 games in 2022-2023 seems a bit steep although he probably is a top 20 pass rusher in NFL

Schefter on Mcafees show today said trading Hendrickson would save the Bengals 10 million dollars this year also said he thinks Seattle is trying to package Mafe and Woolen in a trade…

Very interesting

That guy would change this defense and might be worth what it takes if you believe we have a QB that can keep his shit together through a playoff run. I have my doubts.

I'd offer Kwitty, and next years 3rd round pick. IMHO thats a pretty good deal for both teams.

Reportedly, the Bengals are still saying they want a 1st Round Draft Pick in return for Hendrickson.

Around the time of the draft, a team had offered multiple draft picks which included a 2nd Round Draft Pick. The Bengals said "No thanks."

We'll see if they lower their asking price in the next 24 hours.

And for the acquiring team, you have to wonder if the hip injury will continue to linger and affect his play the rest of this season.

He’s an elite pass rusher that led the league in sacks and flourished in Anarumo system.. give them the 32nd pick all day long for that.

He is a very good pass rusher, who is probably now just about to be past his prime, no thanks, regards long term team building. And this roster still isn't ready for a true super bowl run, so making this move, doesn't make sense to me.

I think if we can re-sign key players at the end of their contract here, get Walley back, and see a second-year leap from Warren and JTT, we should be in the mix next year. Losing Walley really hurt this defense, as he was supposed to be the next shutdown corner for us.

That said, NFL windows close so quickly, so striking while the team is close makes a lot of sense. The league is as close to parity (at the top at least) as it has ever been. Margins are thin.

This offense is unquestionably SB caliber. Even yesterday, a dismal day with 5 sacks and 6 turnovers, we still put up 20 and were able to somewhat move the ball at will through the air. Healthy, this is the best O in the league. You have to make a move to go for the title now, nothing says this O will be back on this pace next year.

The D is not there right now. It's not terrible, the make-shift defensive backfield is certainly a drag, but it is not a terrible defense. What it is lacking however is a game changing edge player who can disrupt the offense. Adding even a renta-DE for this year, is absolutely worth the gamble. You are going to have to draft the position next year anyway.

The defense is lacking talent, that’s for sure. But at least they’re capable of having a good day, unlike Gus Bradley’s defense.

As an aside, what do you suppose Bengals fans would give to have Anarumo back. Yeeesh.

That defense is beyond atrocious.

Man that is a disaster of biblical proportion! I saw a meme website poking fun at some of their D linemen's plays yesterday- holy shit, dudes need to be released!
