New Colts CB Xavien Howard is signing a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, per his agents at Aura Sportsgroup.

Howard, 32, last played in 2023, his last of eight seasons with the Dolphins.

Yeah, this isn't like a Stephon Gilmore deal a few years ago. Howard has had a pretty big dip since, what, 2020? I mean, really I lost track of him.

This is more about 4 out of 5 CB's being out. Which is fucking bananas considering how good things looked a few weeks ago.

I can only assume that Lou was pushing this given the familiarity with Howard. Interesting that Cincy worked him out and did not sign him earlier. Can't help but think this is an emergency band-aid and only hope he stays on the field and it works to our overall benefit.
