Bradley will ensure that Drake Maye has a single game HOF performance.

Need a really big game out of our safeties today. If tight ends continue to rape our linebackers Bradley should be left in Foxboro.

ChoppedWood
12-01-2024, 10:57 AM
We are at the mercy of Gus Bradley in this one, period. This is a MUST win, an absolute SHOULD win, and yet Gus will allow Maye to sit comfortably in the pocket and pick us apart- which he is absolutely capable of doing if allowed, and Gus is always in favor of allowing.

I predict Maye will have an 80+ completion % today, 3 passing TD's and a rushing TD as we lose 31-27. Post game Gus will say he likes what we did there and thankfully finally that will be the Eberflus moment that gets his ass fucking canned.

Playoff chances gone, but at least so is Gus.

Irsay will FINALLY come out with a statement that all options are on the table and we will re-evaluate the whole team at the end of the season- pumping a tiny amount of hope into a fan base that is on the verge of storming the bastille.

Ballard will then issue his own statement declaring simply "I benched 32 at 275 this morning after taking 75ML Tren to may butt (and then give his little arrogant chuckle in a pre-recorded audio file)"... and sadly that will be why he is retained again despite another season down the drain.

I've lost all confidence in this coaching staff ! Steichen is slowly becoming Reich in his play calling ( JT up the middle again and again and again ) and Bradley, well, he's Bradley!!! Pats 12 Colts 10 and we start to pay more attention to the mock drafts !

Check me if I'm wrong, but AR was 3/3 on that drive, ran for 10 yards, and Taylor ran like a mofo and showed great hands and balance on the TD.

THIS is what this team can be. Now if the D can be even average today, it will be a nice afternoon.

How does our defense look better against the Lions than the Patriots?

Maye has that sort of fleet of foot escape the pocket game that just destroys us. We are getting pressure but he is crafty in his ability to escape it. Hopefully they keep gifting us yards because otherwise he will rack up a ton of them against us.

Lawrence got his brain scrambled on that play. He did the fencing response, which indicates a traumatic brain injury.

Of course we had to suck in the Young/Stroud/AR/Levis draft. We couldn't have sucked one year later in the Caleb/Maye/Daniels draft.

Starting to wonder if this offensive staff would've done much with Calbe, Maye, or Daniels, though. AR has some serious flaws, but we rarely try to utilize his biggest strength.

I said this before the start of the season.

Mitchell said that he was "pissed" when he was drafted in the 2nd round last month, and not the first round. And that was made a big deal of in the press. So, choosing number 10 AND telling the press that that is why he chose that number one month later is calling attention to himself ...... at least that's how I view a rookie wide receiver calling attention to oneself.

It will be fine if he has a good season. But if he tears his UCL in the 5th game of the season, his assertion of being pissed and choosing number 10 won't be a flattering look for a rookie wide receiver. Hopefully he will stay healthy, play well, and make it a moot point.

The kid sure as hell appears to have a clutch gene in him! Only 13 games in and SEVERAL times he has shown incredible headiness when the shit is flying all over the place. You cannot consistently win games in the NFL when you allow the opposing QB to do this shit over and over and over and over again and again! It is nauseating to see 3rd and 4 and KNOW we are going to drop into a shell with 8 yards of cushion for a simple 5 yard dig pattern to convert for a first.

Granson, yes. I would give Mitchell another year or two, as he is just a rookie, and might overcome his issues.

It is really frustrating to SEE what is actually happening vs just hearing the shit being talked about AR. So much SM traffic about how he can't even compete 50% of his passes, etc...

Yes, he is still throwing bad passes- both of the INT's today were not good, he telegraphed them both. At the end of today he looks pretty pedestrian, if not mediocre despite the win. His stats don't look good; 50% for 109 yards 2 TDs and 2 INTs.

However those that are watching the games SEE the unbelievable, the ludicrous, level of drops he has suffered. Repeatedly, in almost every game, he has thrown some truly special passes and they have been dropped. Hell almost every week he could have a solid highlight reel on the circuit shows--- if motherfuckers would just catch some of these unbelievable dots he has thrown- the pass to Granson, that is as great a throw against good coverage, as ANYONE in the league can throw.

He is making great plays and not being rewarded or recognized for it. Frankly I am convinced he IS the long term answer but if you aren't paying attention there is no way you could accept that as reality.

It’s got to be said, give Shane Steichen a ton of credit for correctly reading the situation there at the end of the game.

18 play drive for a touchdown. Patriots defense is gassed. Colts oline is charged. Going for two there was absolutely the right decision.

That said, that decision took balls of steel.

Personally, I thought the performance of the Receivers was remarkable given that Pittman has a back injury that prevents him from bending at the waist without intense pain, Pierce could barely walk on Tuesday, Downs was out, Mitchell is suffering growing pains that are typical for many rookie Receivers, and they have a TE corps who, collectively, never met a pass they couldn’t drop.

Time for a very much needed rest. In this week off, hopefully, the players heal up and are renewed for the stretch run. AR has two weeks to work on his short comings, JT gets his ankle healthy, Pittman his back pain eases, Downs’ shoulder heals, Pierce gets his foot issues solved, Bortolini and Braden Smith get game ready. Playing in Denver, it’s important to have the whole team rested and ready to go. I’m not expecting it, but a win in this game would certainly go a long way to an optimistic post season.
