Wondering myself. I think the trend is to work your 1's during the week of joint practices so you don't need the game.

I'd also think AR needs all the reps he can get. Not to mention the ton of young guys we're hoping to make an impact.

I’m starting to think the joint practice is the way to get the live reps without giving teams video on offensive plans.

He is far surpassing Young and Stroud. I'm just in disbelief.

We have a couple of starting OL out already and speculation is that Nelson and Smith won't play either. If that's the case then I would think AR won't play either, which kind of sucks b/c he needs the reps.

Sadly, I think you are right, but we may also have those things in place, time will tell! It was good to hear Irsay speak positively about JT, sounds like they may be able to work out their differences!

No he doesn’t, reps vs bears backups and having our backup Oline protect him is a waste.

I hope he doesn’t play again I’m guessing the same approach for next week… get valuable reps in joint practice and sit for the game.
