Won mvp of the USFL title game. Kinda cool to see but this guy was proof of not falling for the training camp hype.

Not surprising that Deon is capitalizing on that USFL championship game MVP performance and turning that into another chance in the NFL.

I am a little surprised that it has taken this long to materialize, however.

About a week after the championship game, the Stallions terminated his USFL contract because he was signing with a NFL team.

Don't know if he had a verbal agreement that fell through or if he was just anticipating an offer.

Anyways, the Eagles are hosting him for a workout - that was the last NFL team that he went through training camp with.


EDIT: After the workout, the Eagles have signed Cain to a contract.
