That seems quite a decent contract. I like him, and feel that he could contribute a lot more than he has. Maybe this signals that we are not going to be resigning Campbell?

Glad he signed here rather than Cleveland. Great special teams guy that can contribute as a wide receiver. Sign Campbell

Hard to say without seeing the full details of the contract.

Dulin was paid $2.4M last year.

I could easily see this contract set-up as paying $3 - $3.75M with incentives that push it to the low $4M's. I doubt the second year of the contract has any guaranteed money.

But his agent will always use the max possible number for the headline.

If you think this signing is meh it is because you do not value special teams enough. Agree on Campbell

Not really, just not excited about paying a WR5 $4 million per year. Also, why not give this contract to Odum who was a decent backup safety in addition to being a special teams ace? Odum made the Pro Bowl as a gunner.

Was really hoping they would hang on to Campbell but that’s not happening now.

I didn't know Dulin was attached to Odum. Maybe they didn't pay Odum because they had Dulin. Or maybe they like Dulin as a gunner more than Odum. Odum being let go has zilch to do with Dulin. You just like to bitch

Campbell was always a toss up because of the weak free agent market at receiver.

Didn’t Odum want to start at safety and the Colts weren’t going to guarantee that.

I just saw on r/Colts that Reich and the Panthers are very interested in Parris Campbell.

Meh, I don't much care. Is rather lose Campbell than have to pay him a lot of money. We're going to be bad anyway.

More details about Dulin's new contract are below.

Of the originally reported $9.2M number, looks like a little over $2M is incentives and escalators.

Let the Tank-A-Thon begin!

Dulin may be the fastest player on the roster. He is a really good gunner on punt. He is not a throw away

Very interested in what- signing him, talking big game about how great he is, how he is going to be a star, then developing a game plan that has him on the sidelines 80% of the time?

Poor Parris, if Frank lands him again the dude will have all of 15 touches over the next 3 years and will never show what he is capable of. Then again, he will at least retire healthy so good on him for that.

Looks like Campbell is signing with the Giants.

WR Parris Campbell is signing a one-year deal, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source.

Make sure he's bubble-wrapped and opt for the insurance before shipping him to New York.

I'm seeing 1 year, $3M for Campbell. Looks like he wanted to leave? Colts could have paid that amount no problem.

We have the worst WR room in the NFL.

That comes with a different Qb every season, for 5 seasons. And not having a tough play making TE hasnt helped

Yes, as well as a shit GM. I've soured on Ballard recently.

He blew the offensive line. That started the leak, injuries to several of the leaders/bell cows accelerated it and the O lines inability to get their shit together caused the damn to burst

Apparently there are incentives and escalators that could push the number to almost $7M.

Campbell will get a $100K bonus each week for being healthy and available.

And another potential $1.9M in stats-based bonuses.

Parris Campbell’s deal:

$1.5M signing bonus
$1.4M base (skill injury cap guarantee)
$100K workout bonus
$1.7M available in per-game roster bonuses (100K per game)
Up to $1.9M available in incentives for receptions, yards, TDs

So we pay this guy for years, always injured, has one I injured year, Ballard ‘loves’ him and he walks for peanuts (in NFL language). We have no one to replace the guy. I’m trying not to feel like this is a rudderless ship but WTF? I wish I was the type that could say fuck it and root for another team. I’m stuck rooting for this shit. Damn

Jelani Woods will change that this upcoming season with a more featured role.

It's March 16th and people are already talking about tanking. The absolute state of this organization. My only hope is in Steichen at this point.

I thought the same at first about his price. But it looks like he'll actually make $4.8m just for suiting up (his injuries always seemed more freak and unlucky). Don't know what his performance incentives are, but he could end up making $6.5m as opposed to the $2.9m we first saw. That's a different situation.

When has a general fanbase ever wasted time going straight to panic mode? Happens every off-season.

NFL players know what NFL means. Not For Long. The AFC is a shit show. The team that comes to play every freaking game has a chance
