Yea I don’t think Texans will even attempt to win this game, Slangin Sammy gets the W today. I think Pittman has a big game, he’s the only player on offense that’s played with fight and fire all year

So it's anywhere from the 3rd pick to the 6th pick, it looks like. What a disaster of a season.

Hopefully Denver plays hard to win today to prevent giving the 3rd overall to Seattle for Russell Wilson.

IndyNorm

So at worst we're drafting 6th and at best drafting 3rd.

If we lose I think there's a good chance we end up drafting 4th. LAC (at Den) will likely rest their starters if the Bungles beat the Ravens today, and the chances of AZ winning at SF are slim to none since SF is still in the running for the #1 seed in the NFC.

If we win then we're probably dropping to 6th since SEA (hosting LAR) is at home and fighting for a playoff spot.

Well, we saw it coming early for us.

The Tits and their fans really got a slap in the face. Who could have forecast those shitheads going from 7-3 in the shitty AFC south to being out of the playoffs completely. As Colt fans we haven't had much to be happy about this year, but when the Jags beat the Tits for the title, I was a happy mofo. Not that I give a shit much for the Jags either, just dislike the Tits a hell of a lot more.

I can't stand Vrable, the SOB is the whiniest coach in the league. The Titans collapse was pure joy.

If the Bears end up with the first pick, I could see them trading down if they still feel like Fields is their guy. Normally, I would want the Colts to try and trade up, but I don't really see a big difference in many of the QB's in this draft to give up the capital it would take to get one. Dam will disagree with me, but that's ok.

I mean, no doubt at about it, at least as of now.

The bright side is they have talent, but just need it at some major pieces. Which is why I want to see them draft a QB. I don't think Kenny Pickett was highly thought about when he was drafted, yet he looks good for them. Of course the Steelers have competent coaching.

I don't even care that they went for it or would have kicked the FG.

But why call the fucking timeout? Holy hell Saturday, think about what the hell you're going to do a few plays down the road. This is real real real real real real real basic stuff as a head coach.

During a real shit year I think Campbell earned another contract. Not a huge contract, but definitely earned a new one. He is fast, and he is not afraid to get hit. Staying healthy has served him well this year.

It would have to be VERY friendly to the franchise. Not his fault but that injury record is awful.

It would be fitting if this extremely uninteresting game went into overtime, to torture both fan-bases ...... it would be even more fitting if the game wound up in a tie after 10 minutes of overtime, as it did in the season-opener.

o
o

When I was in 11th grade, the Colts won 2 games ...... the first game of the year, and the last game of the year, both against the Patriots.

Both teams finished that 1981 season at 2-14 ...... that 1981 season finale is very similar to this one, with both of these awful teams playing each other in the first and the last games of the season.

Yeah, I'm not sure why either. I thought it might be because there's a chance they could lose the #5 seed, but since the Ravens lost they should have it locked up.

Maybe they're going to treat it like the old 3rd pre-season game was treated and the starters play a half or whatever, just as a tune up. Though that makes less sense at the end of a season where dudes could rest and heal up.

I do wonder what the Colts do if their preferred QB isn't there. I would say OL, but it doesn't seem like the OL talent in this draft is amazing either. Or at least for a #4 pick. Kinda wonder if they take a pass rusher then.

So we're #4.

Bears - Will Anderson
Texans - Young or Stroud
Cardinals - Myles Murphy or Jalen Carter ??
Colts - Young or Stroud

I'm still not sold on either Stroud or Young being "can't miss" type of QB prospects, but they're both better and provide more promise than anything else we've had in quite some time. I think I'd prefer Stroud over Young, but with it feeling like both have more bust than boom potential, I'm not sure it really matters.

Will be interesting since it appears both will be drafted to the same division which will create even more intrigue with all of this for the next several years.

Actually we'd have the #2 pick at best b/c the Bears would still have had a worse record than us: 3-14 vs. 3-13-1. Not sure if we would have won the tie breaker between us and the Texans.
