Interesting news. I guess Ryan is hurt and will be sitting next week, but it sounds like they may be making a change.
Even though Ryan has many issues, I though his performance was good when the line played well. Unfortunately the line decided to play like garbage this year, and the poor guy can't do shit when that happens.

I like it. I felt Ryan was done, but you never know if it was him or just the shitty OL. Now we have a chance to see if it was only the line or both.

Might as well play Sam rest of season- got nothing to lose. Ryan will be cut after Colts miss playoffs again. Hopefully Ballard and Reich gone also.

I don't want to see Ballard gone, but I'm all for Reich being gone.

I don’t understand how someone can condemn Reich and not Ballard. Reich isn’t perfect, but Ballard has plenty of issues as well. Hell of a talent evaluator, but he doesn’t know how to assemble a team to actually compete.

I don't know why I am excited to see a 2nd. year, 6th. round pick play QB this Sunday, but, fuck, here I am.

cause its something new. I have gotten uninspired watching the same crap team play over last 7 games. and at this point its a "what have we got to lose" situation which is usually fun to watch!

They would be cutting the wrong "Ryan".

Same. Hell, this whole message board hasn't been inspired for a while. There's usually fewer than a dozen people looking at it whenever I check in throughout the day.

Because its something new. I have gotten uninspired watching the same crap team play over last 7 games ...... and at this point it's a "What have we got to lose ?" situation, which is usually fun to watch !!!

Whenever I see those uniforms with the royal blue horseshoes on the helmets, I'm inspired to watch ...... even in the 2011 season, when the Colts started the season at 0-13, and finished at 2-14.
The Orioles play 162 games per year, and the Bullets/Wizards play 81 games per year ...... but NFL teams only 17 games per year on a weekly basis, so each and every game feels like gold.
That said, the 2012 Colts who went 11-5 and made the playoffs with an all-word quarterback were considerably more inspiring to watch than the Kerry Collins/Curtis Painter/Dan Orlovsky-led Colts from the previous season.
